I just needed to be convinced to move on so I'll look no further and I'll get into it straight away.

You'll probably see me around again, hopefully to make some contribution to the site too ;)Naiyohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12011720047539167950noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-113288827977061930.post-22185992170250755492017-06-15T07:04:45.894-07:002017-06-15T07:04:45.894-07:00I don't mind at all =)

I think that studying for this test absolutely helped me build my skills with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and these skills have remained pretty relevant to me throughout my career thus far.

I think you have the right idea as far as using this test as a framework for studying a coherent collection of concepts and technologies. Employers aren't likely to look at your CV and say "Oh hey, this guy passed 70-480, get him in here!", but I think it can get you to a place where you can start to understand and apply the technical skills and be a better developer. sabotuer99https://www.blogger.com/profile/14796500467476323404noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-113288827977061930.post-5417614077734113662017-06-14T21:34:50.564-07:002017-06-14T21:34:50.564-07:00Hey thanks again. The reason I would like to prepare for this certification is to have a framework to follow in order to learn and implement the basics of front-end web development.

I have a couple of more questions if you don't mind.

Are you currently working in Front-End Web Development? If so, did you find this certification useful to get there?

I'm aware no certification is as good as a portfolio, but I'd like to get a better idea of how preparing for it could help me build useful skills for the real work.Naiyohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12011720047539167950noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-113288827977061930.post-34111546700779436092017-06-12T05:49:37.486-07:002017-06-12T05:49:37.486-07:00First off, thanks for the thoughtful comment. :) A...First off, thanks for the thoughtful comment. :) As far as prior technical skill, I had done a couple html projects at school, and the programming I'd done up to this point was mostly VBA (Excel spreadsheet macros). For this test, I probably had about a month of dedicated study. Writing this guide was actually a study tool for me. Work was slow, so most days I pretty much did nothing but work on this. I'm glad my efforts can be of value to you, good luck!sabotuer99https://www.blogger.com/profile/14796500467476323404noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-113288827977061930.post-82448652390552146352017-06-11T22:40:09.891-07:002017-06-11T22:40:09.891-07:00First of all I want to deeply thank you for taking...First of all I want to deeply thank you for taking the time and dedication to post such an organized and detailed list of study material. Really appreciate it.

Now, as a programming enthusiast with no experience at all who is willing to take this certification as an organized way of learning there are a few things I would like to know. What was your previous experience / technical knowledge level before preparing for the exam? How long did it take you to get prepared and how many hours a week did you dedicate on average? This is mostly to get an idea of how to organize myself.

Thanks again for sharing your knowledge!Naiyohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12011720047539167950noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-113288827977061930.post-677373347768936522014-04-30T06:49:28.096-07:002014-04-30T06:49:28.096-07:00Pretty much everything listed in the exam guide is...Pretty much everything listed in the exam guide is in the testsabotuer99https://www.blogger.com/profile/14796500467476323404noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-113288827977061930.post-52935632417235651082014-04-27T19:12:17.072-07:002014-04-27T19:12:17.072-07:00Hello
